MatThew Kunka, Esquire

Matthew Kunka was born and raised in Frederick, Maryland. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Gettysburg College where he majored in Political Science. He was also a star athlete in Football, where he played the essential position of Running Back.

After graduating from college, Mr. Kunka continued his education and earned his Juris Doctor law degree from Nova Southeastern University in Florida. While attending law school, Mr. Kunka had the advantage of working as a Rule-16 student attorney where he litigated cases in the Office of the Public Defender for Broward County.

Following law school, Mr. Kunka continued his professional career in Maryland working as an Assistant Public Defender in the Anne Arundel County Public Defender’s office. As an Assistant Public Defender, Mr. Kunka successfully litigated a high volume of cases, assiting and representing persons with limited financial means in the Defense of their cases.

After years of serving the Government and Maryland’s citizens, aggressively litigating their cases, Mr. Kunka worked in private practice in Annapolis Maryland, until he joined the Firm. Mr. Kunka is a welcome addition to our Firm of caring, highly qualified and experienced attorneys.
